First, i don't know if i'm in troubles for posting this, but here i go.

Looks like Scott (Customer Loyality) was fired from Asus in the recent days, the reason? apparently someone interpreted one of Scott's comments as offensive. I hope people that were helped by Scott can share their experiences with the service here, and hopefully ASUS will hire again Scott.

cl-scott/Scott Billings was one of the most helpful Asus people here on the Forum...

I really hope that leaving Asus was more his decision than an Asus decision... Otherwise Asus did a big mistake...

Asus products are awesome, but sometimes they're arriving or going bad too... a dedicated man for handling the RMA's through this Forum is one way for Asus to show that really cares for it's customers, for the ROG community... - and cl-scott was doing this job in an extraordinary way!

In mean time, people make mistakes... everyone who is doing something, can mess up things... - and that's OK, we're just humans... but everyone deserves a second chance! Otherwise how could we learn from our mistakes?!

So, whatever has happened, whoever has messed up, I support the idea to have Scott back! He did too many good things to let him leave just like that... Unless, it's his decision to continue his way... - then I wish him all the bests!

Geez this sucks!!! Scott was a great addition here to the Forums and always up for a laugh!!! can't easily replace a hard worker who got along well with us goofballs so well, if this was Scott's decision to move on, I wish him the best of luck with everything else he does from here on out. Really sucks to see him go

Same here, cl-scott did so much, but if he is leaving for better pastures, then I wish him all the best, as do others on here! 🙂
I am disturbed because I cannot break my system...found out there were others trying to cope! We have a support group on here, if your system will not break, please join!

OK. I just heard about Scott getting zapped and from what I have heard, it wasn't exactly his idea. You can add me to the list of people he helped. I just got a P9X79 Pro board that had a problem, and Scott just took care of everything. Set up the RMA, had the RMA instructions emailed to me, all that stuff. I sent my board in, and got it back after only a week or so.

I'm a long-time ASUS customer, probably 20 years now, never had a problem until now. So it was nice that when I did have a problem someone in ASUS took an interest in my problem, and got it solved right away.

So I'm having a hard time figuring out exactly why ASUS would want to get rid of this guy. It's hard to find good people who do their job well. I honestly think that ASUS management needs to re-think all of this. If there was some kind of issue, well, they should work on it to fix it, not fire the guy.

Just my two cents.

Sorry to see him go. Wish him all the best wherever he lands.

To be honest, I had no real plans of coming back here except to send a couple of quick PMs to people who had outstanding issues with me to let them know I wouldn't be able to help them anymore. I also wanted to get my personal email address to a couple of people I've been carrying on a conversation with, even after I resolved their issue, since I wouldn't likely be coming back here.

Imagine my surprise when someone tells me about this thread. I'm not going to go into details, because I don't want to create problems for any of the @ASUS people who are stuck in the middle on this. So here's the basic statement I'm going to make, and yes it will be very short on the details a lot of you will want.

Asus and I have parted ways, and while I won't confirm or deny anything Sinless said, let's just say that so far 2013 has not been a good year for me. I somehow managed to very severely sprain both my ankles around the beginning of the year, and for a few days I was barely able to even walk. When I finally had time to see a doctor about it, just to be absolutely sure they wanted to do a blood draw and make sure there were no signs of arthritis or gout. I hadn't had much to eat or drink that morning, so I kinda passed out... Twice... During the blood draw. The second time I'm told I started having a seizure. All I know is I came to and there's about 2 nurses hooking up a portable heart rate monitor to me, and asking me questions to try and gauge my alertness level. As far as life experiences go, coming to, and for just a split second you don't even know who you are, let alone where... Not one of those I'd put in the "fun" category. Good news is, there doesn't appear to be any signs of anything wrong other than just a really unusual sprain, which is healing rather nicely lately. Still kind of hurts if I have to do a lot of walking, but it's getting there.

So seeing the support from people here was, sadly, probably one of the first good things to happen to me all year. If you want to do something to help me, then post in this thread if I've ever helped you with some issue, or you have some other example of how I made an impact here, and am an asset to Asus. I know Asus management keeps tabs on these forums, so it's not too late for them to decide they aren't going to let an asset like me, as demonstrated by you, walk out the door so easily.

Just try and keep things respectful is all I ask. Don't force the hand of any of the @ASUS people to close this thread down. They still have a job to do, whatever you might choose to believe happened between Asus and myself. So let's try and keep it civil at the very least.

This will likely be the one and only post I will make. Again, I don't want to make any of the @ASUS people feel uncomfortable, so I'll try and keep to the shadows of PM land from hereon. If any of you try and send me a PM and my inbox is full, just give me a little bit and hopefully I'll be able to clear it out. After the PM discussions subside, I will take my leave from ROG, unless I resume my post as the Asus CLM rep.

One last bit. I know some of you somehow managed to get your hands on some internal email addresses for people at Asus. I can only try and discourage you from using them, but if you insist, again I ask you be respectful.
