Hey guys,
I’m new in the forum and will directly bother you with a problem
😛As the name says I got some troubles with my M.2 SSD. But firstly here my specs:
Case: Fractal Nano S
Mainboard: Asus ROG STRIX Z370-I Gaming
CPU: 8086k (delidded/liquid metal/copper IHS)
Cooling: Custom Loop
RAM: 32GB TridentZ 3.200 Mhz
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC2 Gaming
PSU: Silverstone Strider 800W Platinum
SSD M.2: 512GB Samsung 970 Pro Evo M.2 2280 NVMe
SSD 2,5": 256GB Intel 545S
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 4TB 7200 RPM
OS: Windows 10 Pro
BIOS VERSION: 1002 (latest)
For further information:
https://pcpartpicker.com/b/wvvnTWBefore I got the 970 Pro M.2 two days ago I had the 960 M.2. I’ve had the same problem with both:
I installed the SSD in the M.2_1(SOCKET3) on the front side.
The SSD was recognized during the installation and also afterwards when the system was set up properly.
In the BIOS the SSD shows up in the “Boot Briority” (1. Windows Boot Manager Samsung 970 Pro)
So far everything is fine. But it just bugs me that the SSD is not listed under storages. Not on the main page, EZ mode (M.2 = N/A) neither under Storage configuration (Empty)
The BIOS is set up properly, AHCI enabled, CMS enabled and Hyper M.2X16 disabled.

Does anybody has an idea what could cause this problem and how to solve it?
Finaly, i want to mention that english isn't my nativ language so please apologize if the text contains some grammatically mistakes
😛I hope you guys can help me figure it out!
Best regards,
