Hi, i have already registred my G74SX on vip.asus.com and can't find out how to become a ROG VIP member?
Someone has a clue what to do? 🙂

Using same email on vip.asus.com and here..

lol I don't know I'm still a regular member... I'm still just a normal member... not sure exactly the difference... do you get like wallpapers and stuff? I registered my product RIVE already... last month I think...

Same issue here.
I had an Asus account before I came here.
I even clicked the link here that said "become a VIP". Did that. DIdn't work.
Not a big deal, I don't think you really get any benefits... except more spam in your Inbox.
Asus Z170X + Asus GeFroce GTX Turbo 1070 +... all kinds of Asus goodies. #Fanboi

The VIP status is not linked back here right now. After you click on the link and register you'll still get the same message here each time you visit because the forum doesn't know you did it.

Yep, showing a VIP status is something we have yet to code. It's on our list!

VIP is the registration .. straight forum. This is ROG forum.
There is no 'regular' .. VIP is not an upgrade .. other than
registered product support... all.

ROG is ROG ... and nothing 'normal' or 'regular' about that.
and lots and lots of wallpapers ... c.

I was wondering why it always said that message but at least I registered and pretty soon when my ASUS GX900 comes in im going to register that too.

Thats odd cos occasionally I get the ASUS VIP thing under my Avatar and details on the left. like right now yet as far as I know it only happens to the last post i made as If i reply to another post it will move to that one, I guess thats part of it but just not working fully yet.

Edit: it dissappeared again.

Thats what it is suppose to do I believe .. its just checking to see if you are a 'verified' user .. the fastest
way is .. does the poster have ROG gear evidenced by vip registration.
I liked it so much .. I put it in my sig .. as I see did limbless0ne ... I dig the new sig also .. but must
say I loved the artisticFlare of the last one..cudos on both.

VIP means simply, you have registered equipment. (one of 'us' .. not one of 'them' SpammerBots or is that butts?).c.
