For all the noise that FreeSync monitor makers are making, last I heard (in Jan) we did not yet have the final spec from AMD to do real validation. FreeSync is still 'early' - there are no proven solutions in the market yet - so there's work to do to make sure the experience is right. We already found at least one DP 1.2a scaler ASIC is not suitable, so things like this need to be investigated and resolved first. Once we know the experience will be great, we'll have something to announce 🙂
