ROG PG348Q Gamevisuals software not available

Hello,

I spent about 3 days looking allover the internet and even on these forums regarding the posibility of having ROG Gamevisual installed for the display ROG PG348Q Curved https://www.asus.com/us/ROG-Republic-Of-Gamers/ROG-SWIFT-PG348Q/

I am aware that there are 6 presets available on the osd menu but everytime i need to change them i have to move around my desk to reach the joystick behind the display.
So having this software installed would be very helpful in this regard.

I have tried to follow the steps described here https://www.asus.com/en/support/FAQ/1041901/ but without success.
I am using windows 10 x64 version 1909 with a Gainward Phantom GTX980 4GB and the PG348Q Ultrawide Curved display.
Also everytime i try to open ROG Gamevisual i receive a message that it needs updating and another message to restart the app, and it stays stuck in this loop.
When i try to install Asus Gaming Center as it says from the instructions i receive the message that i neeed to run GamingCenterSetup.exe which i am running already and setup fails.

Please someone let me know if this software support is obsolete / dated and if the only way to use the GameVisual presets is to do it from the OSD menu.
