I’ve tried just about everything to fix this, my ASUS GTAC5300 router decided to randomly display red on the WAN port after doing some firmware upgrades / down grades going between firmwares for a stable one.
I’ve tried factory reset, hard reset, powering it off for hours so dhcp can get another public IP address from my ISP, ASUS recovery tool
Anything you can think of, it’s just fallen out of warranty July last year, is it possible to still get it covered under warranty or ACCC, I got it from PLE?
Was thinking of flashing it with DD WRT or Tomatoe for converting a LAN port to WAN but don’t think it supports it
