"Selected file is not a proper bios" Has Asus uploaded the wrong Bios files (B550-F)

Hello,

I have been having trouble with input lag in the new B550F 1602 BIOS.

The files uploaded for the previous Bios versions are giving me that error. My USB is Both FAT 32 and I formatted MBR.

I have also tried Bios Flashback to no avail.

I believe Asus might have reuploaded the wrong files for my board.

Can anyone confirm or try this?

i get that error as well flashing through bios. I can use flashback for lower bios.

What Bios version have you tried?

I cannot use flashback on the good stable 1202

The Bios wont flash for me, it flashed green for a second or two and then goes solid.

What partition is your USB drive running MBR or GPT?

MBR i beilieve i just format it fat 32 right click of the mouse and just put the cap on it nothing else. Put it in the bios usb port, hold button for like 3 secs and let it do it's thing. Try clearing your cmos, take battery out and try that?
