the strix plate which i find unattractive any way has gotten a small amount of damage in the corner, i wounder can i just remove this plate, will the heatsink look the same under it or will there be a big gap where the plate used to be, it's that multicolored sticker thing that says republic of gamers it seems to be a hard sticker so if i remove it is there anything under it or will be be brushed the same as outside of it

Looks like a solid piece.

You can also get a piece of 0.060" X 12" X 12" plastic/acrylic sheet, cut to size, and attach with 3m double-sided tape. Then put your own design on it.

i don't think it's a solid piece i think it's a hard sticker but i wonder whats under it is there going to be an ugly gap or something but it clearly looks like a hard sticker it's even above the metal heatsink so it's not flat with the heatsink

Looks like a solid piece. I do not see any holes. However, that I/O cover is three pieces. I do not think ASUS would have paid extra to have the brush pattern stop so the sticker can be applied. How do the STRIX stickers at the top look? Please, let us know how it looks under the ROG sticker at the bottom if you remove it.
