Portuguese technical suport

Hello Felows
Portuguese technical suport is terrible. They format computers and other all devices without costumers knowlege. They do not respect private files.
My computer went to repair problems with speakers and i lost all my files, including those saved in an external disk instaled in the second drive.
It is the jungle applied to tecnology.
Somebody has to punish them

always do backup of your pc if you are going to send it in to repair. ( private files+++ ) becouse they will delete windows ( for example) to do clean instal if they have to, or even full format of pc in case programs on the second disk is bugging the main drive ( can be virus too ),

Portuguese technical suport do not respect intelectual private property.
They are completely wild.
The problem was on the speakers and i could not suspect about formating the hard disk. Even so, they could remove the external disk before formating and protected those files.
It was always possible to contact the costumer. There was the correct ethical behavior.
I do not know how can i complain to ASUS INTERNATIONAL. Maybe ASUS INTERNATIONAL can teach portuguese technical suport to respect costumers.

Would never ever leave a computer to repair with important files on when you never knows if you get the disc formated or searched.Asus or no Asus.Doesnt matter.Always a backup and then a good formating tool before leaving a computer if these these hardware parts works.

there was once that my ASUS laptop went in for screen repair.

i did not wait and ask whether my data was safe with them, i did the legwork in advance and wiped my data before sending them in.
and i did this knowing i sent my laptop in for a hardware repair.

Somebody has to punish them

forget it. even if you took it to court, your likelihood of winning is low.
(P.S.: i'm not saying you cannot take them to court; you're free to try and find out later it's a colossal waste of money. but if this satiates your anger, go for it)

I have a comercial activity too, and always respecting costumers.
It´s very easy and ethical the contact between services and costumers.
Portuguese technical suport never again. They showed how can be the tecnology in the jungle.
