The new year, brings some sobering thoughts, being born in an era of the invention of electrical computers, space flight was still fiction, and the world moved on, faster, higher, deeper, more efficient and faster still with endless flows of inventions to achieve that aim. Tomorrows world ( tv program) was compulsive viewing for new inventions.
Today we have technology at a peak and in anticipation looking forward to where it's heading next, so I decide it's been too long, time to build another machine, faster,bigger, more efficient than anything I've had before, so I get down to research and ordering components, "amazing things computers!!" So fast on line and confirmation straight away to say it will be with you.
So I wait, and wait, and wait,parts from Germany and France could be a while, whilst everything in the world is getting faster A Postman still only walks about 4 miles an hour.
I had to smile to myself.
And wait.
