Hi My name is Andy, a proud dad of an 11yo son and 10yo daughter. They're my entire universe and some. I reside in Northern Ontario Canada (and no Toronto is not the north haha).
Been into computers all my life and infact was the very first student to use a computer in my schools new computer lab in 1984 in Sr Kindergarten. It was an old Apple I believe. I've never stopped being into tech and gadgets and making generally anything at all. I got my first computer when I was 22 in 2003 and the rest is history. I prefer to build my own. You just end up with a much better setup that way I think. I like to build and fly rc planes, both IC and electric, balsa or foam. If it flies, I'm willing to fly it. Haha. I also dabble in coding with arduinos and esp8266 and ESP32's. I am also into politics and love reading about different sciences, particularly astronomy and astrophysics, and even energy. I also love old cars, firearms as well as music and movies from the 70s/80's.
