Hey all! John Jameson here(the real one). Devoted E lite Dangerous Pilot and VR fan. Programmer started off with a BBC MICRO and home made Hardware back in the day when I was 18. Love STRIX hardware though having trouble with new new STRIX 6800XT LC not working in the top slot of 2 motherboards including a CROSSHAIR VIII FORMULA(thank the TECH GOD for PCIE 4.0). Love building PC's (also a business for me) and programming in OOP languages(though with this new build I'm at tearing my hair out stage, think I might have a dodgy/blown 5800x). ALOHA! May your builds take you beyond! 😉

Hi. I'm Bhernard, a ROG fan also like you. I had a ROG Rig with ROG Peripherals. Hope to have fun here in the forums. 😛

I'm Naceron, Digital Specialist & Web Designer and Mid-core gamer from Algeria.

Hi everyone it's nice to meet you. Thank you all for participating in the forum and I look forward to getting to know all of you. That's all for now.

Hi, I'm new to the ASUS forums, but not ASUS itself. I've owned many ASUS laptops since about 2008 give or take. I'm apparently hard on my laptops, because I usually end up with motherboard issues and power jack problems (these issues are linked to each other). My most recent purchase was in July 2021 when I bought the ROG G513QY (ROG Strix G15 Advantage), though all of my previous ASUS laptops have been ROG versions. I am not super technical, but have a lot of experience just dealing with my own problems using laptops...I usually need to pester a friend of mine if I need to figure something out, but if it's something I've done a lot of, I'm fine. I'm already having issues with this laptop so here I am on the forums.

Hi there, good people of the republic! 🙂

I'm Torben, an older guy from Denmark, aka "TurboSlug65". (65 is not my age but my birth year, not that it makes much difference). I used to be a bit of a "PC freak" in my younger years, but not the last 15 years or so. But recently I treated myself to a nice "kick-ass" PC - so now I'm trying to get back into the game, so to speak. See you around!

Older retired healthcare specialist. Long history of working with home computers as part of communications. Built my first home computer from kit in 1977, an Equinox S-100. Many hobbyist machines since then. Added an iMac 27 in 2011 and began to learn macOS X. After fully retiring in 2015, began to learn programming languages online, adding to years-earlier self instruction in BASIC, PASCAL, C. Since retirement, I have worked through courses in C++, Linux, Python, and now working on Java. Started building my own home-brewed PC's 20 yr ago to use with Windows, then Linux. I currently have my homebrew PC sitting next to a 2013 Mac Pro, and I use them both.

Just moved up to an ASUS ROG STRIX B550-F for my latest build using AMD RYZEN 5600X CPU with 64 MB RAM (2 x 32 MB), XFX AMD 570 video board, and Seasonic 850W PSU. I am working to solve a couple of minor bugs in this setup to eliminate a couple of error displays. This build is really fast, and I am happy to have it for financials and programming.

Hi all, this is Gustav, working for a bank.

Just got a Zenith II Extreme Alpha motherboard in early September planning to build a powerful machine learning machine. The new motherboard is not booting up and so unfortunately my very first post will be a request for help.

Ehllo, I'm Wax. I joined #TeamROG earlier this year and will remain #TeamROG. Started with a G512LV-UH76 notebook, then bought a used pre-built G15CX a few weeks ago which made me want to build my own custom build, so that's what I did. Spent about $1K on that POS G15CX, wasn't satisfied with it and dropped another $1400 on new everything last week, and here I am.

Hello, just introducing myself. I'm an IT project manager and recent purchaser of ROG equipment. I have a few questions, but will post them in the general forum and hopefully get rocking and rolling soon!
