@ ZYgomorphic, I joined the group, are there any rules that I must follow? I'd love to stick around this community 🙂

Thank you!! 🙂 Here are the basic rules, a mod will tell you if you cross the line.
1) Family friendly posting - not little-kid necessarily, but keep profanity to a minimum. No pr0n!

That's about it. We like to deal with issues as they arise, rather than over-burden people with bureaucracy.

Makes more sense to get a high-end PC. constant little upgrades don't help as much...except for an SSD.
I am disturbed because I cannot break my system...found out there were others trying to cope! We have a support group on here, if your system will not break, please join!

will do, I already made like 5-6 threads in 2 weeks time to learn about the questions I still have to ask, once I got all my questions answered I'll be making less threads and helping more people, which I already do anyway but yeah... glad to be in the group 😄

My screen name is Maximiza. I have been using Asus motherboards for over 10 years. I am currently still using a perfectly working A8N-SLI Deluxe with an opteron 185 processor. I have been active on the Asus member support forums for awhile. The age of my system though has me a little worried about failure and loosing all data. After starting my new computer build this past August I finally pulled the trigger and ordered a Rampage IV with 64 gig of ram and a i7 3820. Hopefully I did not forget anything is spec'ing out my build and should be able to finish it up within a week and a half. I joined here since it is an ROG board and this place has lots of info specific to my new model being shipped to me. I work full time in sales for a electronics distrubuter for the past 15 years.

Welcome to the forum! 🙂 Engineering is an awesome field, when the going gets tough (it does in engineering, I'm told), be tough and get going. 😄 It is well worth the time and effort, especially if you know why you want to do it. That's always a motivator whatever the boring or painful task may be. 🙂

And where, may I ask, are you going to school? Definitely inquire with your school about co-operative education and/or internships (paid, of course!). They will help you get the job you want, and let you avoid the ubiquitous "will you have fries with that?" which liberal arts majors do.
