Not a new member, but kinda coming out retirement. Built a ROG rig 5 years ago. Life got busy doing other things. Left my ROG friends for about 4 1/2 years. (sorry) It is now time to build another system and suddenly BAM, I remembered where my friends and support was!!!!! Previously, I entered photo contest, participated with posts........and so fourth. Really enjoyed because there is a bunch of GREAT people in here. So, my new build made me think of where to get great support. I completed the new build 99% trouble free. That last 1% was solved by coming back here. 🙂 :). Asus Aura LED no shut down on power down (how annoying). Couldn't figure out the settings.Didn't go 100% all out this time. MAXIMUS X CODE, 8700k, Asus 1070Ti gaming (advanced), Vengeance RAM (wish I would have went with Trident Z RGB) 970 512 pro M.2, 860 1 tb ssd, 5 tb spinner, AX1200i, 360 corsair cooler, Lian Li PC-011 Dynamic (which I absolutely love).
The M.2 drive is a smart investment IMO. System is extremely snappy (because it is new?) The thing benches at 3.56 gb/Sec. Read, 2.35 write. (never seen anything like this). Yee Haw. :D.........................LOVE YOU GUYS....... PS still running triple 27" mons
