Hello,

I'm a long time Asus user. I'm 32 years old right now and I bought my (own) first computer at the age of 16.
This was based on a Asus A7N8X Deluxe (I still remember the reference by heart) with an AMD Barthon 2500+ on it.
I kept this computer during 6 years. It was still working well by the time, but after two graphic cards died, I decided to buy a new computer.

Then I had (and still have it running 24/7) a computer based on a Asus P6T Deluxe and an Intel i7 920 (which I upgraded later for a i7 980X).
It has more than 10 years now and still running very well. Same case as the previous PC, my graphic cards died two times (difference is that I bought a third one...).
The i7 920 has run during 8 years overclocked since the first day. At the end of his life, it wouldn't recognize all my RAM anymore (only seeing 16Gb out of 24Gb).
Then I upgraded to a 980X that I found at low price because it was already quite old.

I recently bought a new config, based on a Asus Crosshair VIII Hero Wifi and an AMD Ryzen 9 3900X.
The processor is cooled by an AIO cooler Asus RYUJIN 360.
I also have two NVMe drives and a raid 1 array with two storage disks.

About myself,
I work in heating, venting, air conditionning systems, for buildings and industries.
Part of my job is to program controllers (automaton) to drive the systems.

As a hobby, I do PHP programming, making websites more like softwares than usual websites.
I mostly do tools and stuff like that useful for my job.

And oh... I love computers since I've seen my first one at the age of 5.

Hi, my name is Raul and I just build a new computer with Asus Extreme Omega motherboard but now my wired internet connection wont go over 2mb/s speed. This is on either port it has on the back. Can some body help me with this please. Thanks.
I tried with my phone and goes more than 200mb/s witch is the one I have in contract. Thanks again.

My name is Patrick and Ive been a fan of ROG for a long time. I just recently got into a position where I could finally build my own ROG rig and lets just say I dove in head first. 17 ROG products on/in my current computer. Bit of a headache getting all the ROG gear to play with each other in aura but its amazing when it does work. Its ready to crush any task I throw at it, business or gaming. I plan on doing a lot of FPS and sim racing. My biggest gaming accomplishment would be getting into the top ten in worldwide xbox burnout paradise city ranked racing. I like to tinker and mod things, So, you'll probably see me posting all over the place here asking and answering questions.
