Hi, My name is Don. I am a retired CSI and just built my first water-cooled build. I have used ASUS for 10 years on regular builds and just had normal computers. This time I built a ASUS x299 Prime Deluxe Mobo, Intel 7920X processor, G.Skill Trident 4x8 - 32GB QUAD Z Royal memory with a CAS of 14.14.14.32, ASUS GTX1070Ti, SAMSUNG NV M.2 EVO Pro SSD, and TT Plus pump/res RGB, cl480 copper rad, 4 Riing fans RGB, EK RGB Monoblock, 1220 watt P/s, all Sync TT RGB controller and more, in a P90 TT case.
Being new to adjusting BIOS. Before I fire it up soon, I need to know what basic adjustment in the BIOS to do. I know I first have to update BIOS. I am confused as to making the M.2 bootable, and to make the memory at 3200 quad. And should I pay close attention to temperature at first for a standard running build at first. Any suggestions will be appreciated as I do not want to harm this expensive build....Thanks.......I am learning from all of you.
