Marco, from Italy. Old m5a99x and gtx 550 ti hardware

Hi everyone!

I am running a FX-8350 and dual Vega 56s. Interested in some upgrade advice perhaps. Was thinking about those pcie SSDs or maybe a sata RAID.
Love gaming; Doom, Wolfenstein and COH2.

Doom and Wolfenstein are in high regard for me. Just played through good old Doom2 few weeks ago. On a phase playing old but gold games for half a year or so now. Had a blast with Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Doom3 back in the day, haven't played the newer ones yet.

As intro: Gabe from Denmark here. Joined to get the most out of my spatha. Loving the button craze and need a change of grip from a steam controller.
Running an old clevo based sli laptop. Thinking of upgrading (turning back to) a desktop tower for when I get back into playing recent titles.
Have been happy with asus stuff since my first laptop in 2007.

EDIT: To the mods: Would suggest a more detailed explanation on the forum signup page (where you connect the asus login to a forum login). Had to search for a while to stumble upon the password requirements on a reddit. Bet there is a thread for such suggestions, deemed it can be relevant here.

Hello and greetings to everyone!

Daniel from Denmark.
I've allready found a lot of help in the forums here
I have B360M-K motherboard, so not a ROG... I hope that you'll forgive me 🙂

Hey, I am Jay and I am brand new to the ASUS community. Just bought my first high-end gaming laptop, the Asus ROG Zephyrus M (GU502GV) and absolutely love it. I hope that it lasts a very long time, because it is absolutely amazing and is so slick/slim that I can bring it anywhere and feel comfortable.

Hello

I am new to this forum, so I will introduce myself.

I am from California, but about 10 years ago I moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina.

I mostly use the computer for music recording and for music production. Also for web surfing and other general use.

My main instrument is guitar, but I also play bass and keyboard, and I sing a little bit.

My main audio recording software is Studio One Pro. I have lots of VST plug-ins from Waves, Fabfilter, and others. I use Addictive Drums 2 for drum tracks. I also use Band in a Box, and Amazing Slow Downer. My audio interface is an RME UCX.

I tried to put my system specs in my profile, but I can't figure out how to open up the fields to input the data. If someone can help me with how to do this, it would be great. Anyway I have a Desktop I had made in Micro Center in California when I visited in September of 2019. It has a ROG STRIX Z-390E, Intel i7-9700K, 2x16 D4 3200 Ripjaws, Corsair H801V2 liquid cooler, and several Samsung Evo SSDs. I am not so savvy about computers, but I told Micro Center I needed a fast computer with lots of memory and quiet cooling so as not to interfere with the microphone.

So that's a little about me, thanks!
