My name is Jay, and i am from the Philippines. i just bought my first windows laptop (Asus Rog Scar II GL504GV) last month and it's only like a week or so ago that i was able to register here (the forum was so buggy before). anyway i'm glad to see a lot of useful information here. I'm new to the whole undervolting for better temps thing, but i'm getting the hang of it. at first i wasn't really liking how the laptop performs. but after spending some time with it (Fresh windows install and undervolted the CPU) it's now performing ALMOST perfectly, i say almost because i BSOD from time to time. But, as I've said, i'm new to this so i'm trying to fix the issues one step at a time.
Reason why i bought this laptop is for streaming (i'm a Partnered streamer on FB and i have to stream even if i am not home, in front of my desktop) one bummer though (small rant coming). when i purchased the laptop. i asked the salesperson if SCAR III will be released anytime soon, and they told me that the photo i saw online was just a teaser and it'll probably be released around the end of the year. lo and behold, SCAR III got released after a few weeks of buying my laptop. Can't return the unit since it doesn't work that way in our country. But with that being said. the SCAR II is serving it's purpose so far. hopefully i'll get an even better experience with this (performance wise) once they've fixed the small "issues" it has.
