I am an elderly average user with a z 390 board and would like to speak with people who have time and patience to help me maneuver through my EUFI settings. For example I would like to move from legacy with no secure boot to secure boot. I am not at all familiar with the setting but if I spend a bit of time learning I would greatly benefit.

Hello everyone. I'm long time Asus motherboard user, have used Asus motherboards since Asus P5Q deluxe (the best motherboard I ever had) and have used many Asus motherboards after that. Right now still using Asus motherboards because I have had positive experience with them this far. Hey all...1st Asus ROG. Bought it because it seamed like a pretty scream'in, bad-ass laptop for Autocad 2018 that I use it for. I'm a total novice when it comes to computers and such. Thank god for you guys out there that I can hopefully glean some cool info and suggestions from, via this forum. I know I will be at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to technical stuff, so please be patient with my questions....but I'm a hell of a builder and can make anything out of a stack of lumber! Lol,..my only talent. Your guy's answers will be enormously appreciated by this dude.
Other than that, I live in Belize, 56, 2 dogs and drink rum like a proper Pirate! Life is good!

I almost always go by streakeagle or some variant on the internet. I am a combat flight sim fanatic. My home PC only exists to play all my favorite flight sims from the distant past to the present. My go-to sim right now is DCS World. While I have been programming computers since the 9th grade (1982-83) and made a living programming them since 1997, I didn't get my first home PC until 2000. It's heart was a 1 GHz Pentium 3 on an ASUS CUV4X motherboard. I soon rebuilt it with a 1.2 GHz Pentium 3 Tualatin on an ASUS TUV4X. Presently, I still have an operational Athlon 64 on an A8NE and an I5 3570K on a P8Z77. My current home PC is an I5 4690 on a Maximus Hero VII. When the reviews are good and the price is competitive, I have almost always gone ASUS. I won't come to these forums very often, but it is great place to get answers if you are an ROG owner 🙂
