Sup folks, new forum member here, new to ROG but old ASUS customer. Mid 30's, married and with 2 kids. Build my new PC like a week ago, rocking 1080ti strix OC, 32 gigs of hyperX (that ram is not fully compatible with Aura which made me mad), 512gig 970 PRO, couple TB of Seagate storage, 8700k clocked to 5 ghz on synced cores with AIO Water, all on ROG Hero WiFI (cuz my store ran out of Code -_-). Waiting for my 8 Vegas X7 fans to come in and hopefully work nicely with AURA. Coming back from my older ASUS components and discovering ROG with it's amenities was really pleasant feeling.

I have just got myself an R7 2700X and a Crosshair Hero VII to put it on.

I am having a few issues with the forum though :(. Every time I want to view a file or a link, I am constantly asked to log in even though I am already logged in. Does this ahappen to anyone else? Who can I talk to for help with this?

Thanks!!

Hello all,
I'm not really new here but I've never posted. Been a member sense 2015.

I enjoy PC tweaking and getting the most I can from my system. My main PC usage is Flight Simming in P3Dv4.x. Flight simming always puts a strain on even the best of systems so I'm always looking to improve where I can with the cash available.

I build my own systems and have bought nothing but Asus motherboards in the past 15+ years. The ROG community is my go-to place for information.

Thanks to all the super smart people here for sharing your acquired knowledge.

Hello one and all at ROG. Trust that the years have been good to you all. See quite a few of the old faces still around and plenty new ones.

Take care and ROG on.

Hey Viz, glad to see you are well!
A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. On my desk, I have a work station…

Hi, I'm khai.
I'm a Web Developer / Apps Developers who lives in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Love coding and gaming. Currently using the Asus ROG Zephyrus M for my daily gaming. Have to say that, the GTX 1070 rocks!
Everything on this laptop works fine unless the CPU temperature gets high easily while gaming and I have undervolt my Zephyrus M for better performance.
One more, the thermal paste used on this laptop is ****, lol. Gonna replace it with liquid metal once my warranty is ended.
But the ways, it's still a very cool laptop, really love the design!

Hey. New here. Long time notebook overclocker. Finally fed up with crippled filth and moved to desktop in November. Some of you may know me from HWBOT, Notebook Review Forums or Overclock.net by the forum name Mr. Fox. I'll be hanging out here more since I am an ASUS desktop mobo fan.

Trying to figure out how some things work here for profile customization, adding system specs, etc.

Hi @mr_fox_rox, I know you from NBR (I'm Knight666) 🙂 I also had Clevos (and we both waged war against BGA/MXM crippling and other heresy) ^^ I hope You will rock here too.

I would also like to say Hi to everyone. I'm experienced PC and notebook user. I have some (aloot) experience with overclocking CPU's like old AMD, DualCore/Core2Duo/Core2Quad/AMD FX Vishera/Core i5 750/Core i7 4790K/Core i7 6700K in Clevo P870DM).
Like FOX I have abandoned laptops for desktops because of vendors and market situation (c'mon, BGA turdbooks and no longer true MXM support, we can't even flash gpu vbios anymore...).

Currently returned to Asus MOBO's - Crosshair VII Hero WiFi is on the spotlight (no mercy for the weak). Meanwhile waiting for GTX 1180/2080.
