We used to have a Folding team and Folding contests for ROG but after some leadership changes at ASUS other things have taken priority and we no longer have anything official. It's still a worthy cause but if you want to try Folding I would recommend finding an active team to participate with.

Hello everyone,
My name is leo, i'm from Taiwan.
Hope to share the experience of using ROG hardware and software here.

Hi, My name is Alex

I'm enthusiastic in hardware for over 20 years, although I take my time in which parts to get, I am very thorough in that, especially for the economy and durability I want.

but...! back to the point..!

I love to manipulate hardware a lot and my favorite brand for motherboards was always Asus and it will always be Asus for me, because its solidity and architecture in general and most of all is because it squeeze all the power of a processor and gpu in the best way..!

I am a gamer for over 23 years, but also I work with unity and blender a lot as hobbie, for almost 5 years.

I do work in my life as freelance technician in computers and networks for over 11 years.

I've been out of any pc forums for a long time, just for read.. so I decided to return! but to post or answer for any help and probably solve some questions around.

So, See ya around...!

Hello everyone, my first post here.

Lately I am getting annoyed with frequent crashes due to the GPU driver stopping work, it recovers itself after a few seconds but the online game is lost.

I also get this notice in a window :

Fatal Error

Creat2DTexture_PC(~&-crly_train_wooden_siding_0~607a1827,1024,1024,11,7) failed:887a005 = The GPU device instance has been suspended. Use GetDeviceRemoved to determine the appropriate action.
GetDeviceRemovedReason returned DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG

I never had a problem before running this card for over one year, lately I am getting frequent crashes while playing Call Of Duty WWII newer maps.

Running OS - Win 8.1 64 Bit
CPU Intel I-7 3970X 3.5 GHZ LGA2011 Unclocked
MB - ASUS P9X79 WS
Memory DDR3 32 GB (4x8 GB)
PS - Thermaltake 1350 W

Any suggestions are welcome !

thanks,
Ed

Hello everyone.

I'm Imamul Islam from India. I am a freelance software developer and am planning to start my own firm next year. I am not a voracious gamer, though I occasionally dabble in Don't Starve and Battlefied series. The only game I consistently like to play is Age of Empires, which is the first game I ever played on the first PC that I owned.

After using i3-530 for 8 years, I have made the leap to Ryzen 1700 this month. However, that transition has gone awry right now, which is why I have joined this forum, to look for solutions.

Hope we'll all find what we seek.
