I use to love the things ASUS does, but now I need to get my faith back. Got an old ASUS Sabertooth p67 that I wanted to upgrade from, so I bought an Z270E gameing. But it turns out it was an huge downgrade. With my old P67 the games I play run smooth, but with the Z270E the same games is unplayable. Hope it is only some trouble with the copy that I got and not a common thing with this mainboard. So I just joined to get som help fixing it here.

Chris but go by MrSmoofy on the interwebz. Looking to the forums for some expert advice on getting my rig working at a decent performance. Have not built a PC since 2012 and this time I more towards gaming than just a standard PC.

Having some issues getting my money worth out of what I bought (Example changing to XMP causes black screen no post) so I'll be reading the forums and posting my questions.

Hi, I've been registered on this forum for a month and just now realized I never added an introduction post. I've always enjoyed tinkering with computers and learning from others on forums such as these, but never joined here until I found a great thread that helped me with a computer issue and decided to contribute.

I'm not historically what might be called a tweaker type or extreme overclocker, but I love to own above-average equipment with the ability to offer more power and advanced options, even if I may never use them to their full potential. It's worth the extra money to have such fun. Bragging rights, and the ability to just mess around with the stuff when I want. I've learned a lot from this forum in the last month, so many knowledgeable experts here, so thanks to all for that.

I'm a fan of PC games, and don't use my home equipment for CAD or REVIT or high-intensity graphical stuff, just the usual home office and finance stuff, so the advantage I get out of the higher end equipment is pretty much for gaming. Thus....ROG, it's a great line of equipment and a nice community here. See you all on the forums.

Hi.
I just finished "building" my first pc and it went remarkably well.
But I have some general questions here and there, and I thought this was the right place to do so.Yes?

I have always got a lot of help on different forums and I`m sure this will be the same.

Cheers.
