Greetings fellow ROGers, Rawkhound here. I am an enthusiast gamer/comp. builder. Just finished my latest build with the specs on my profile and now the tweaking begins 😉 .
My interest in computers started when I was very young and I got my first "computer" - TSR-80 (Coco 2) and fell in love with my Dungeon of Daggorath game which I played the heck out of; then starting to learn the basic language and figure out programming then gaming took off from there. Nowadays I enjoy playing various MMOs/RPGs(Rift, WoW, etc) for the most part with some fps games such as Defiance.
Glad to be a part of the family here as I am constantly consulting forums for new ideas/tweaking/troubleshooting suggestions !!!

Game On,

Rawkhound

Welcome everything, seems we have a great variety of occupations from around the global.

Let us know if you guys have any questions.

Hello, everybody!

I am 37 years old and I am a civil engineer.

I joined the ROG forums because I want to share experience with other owners of ROG laptops.

I just purchased a GL553VE, and while this is not my first Asus laptop, nor my first Asus device, it is my first ROG series laptop.

I am looking forward to getting the most out of my new device and, if possible, help others do the same.

Yours,
geutz

Goodness! I was searching around for info on a new monitor, and I came upon the ROG forums. Went to register, and was informed I already have done so. Reset password, log in, almost 5 years ago I registered. Wow lol.

Anyways.. back then, I bought a G75vw lappy. It's still kicking hard. Doing a little research for a monitor to pair up with a new build I'll be doing soon. Looking forward to browsing around and reading a LOT of info.

I'm glad I found this forum. I have a lot of questions about my new Hero IX!

Hi,

I recently invested in a 7700K and a Z270H and decided to get back in the business of tinkering, had a few years break.

Hi, I've been registered on this forum for a month and just now realized I never added an introduction post. I've always enjoyed tinkering with computers and learning from others on forums such as these, but never joined here until I found a great thread that helped me with a computer issue and decided to contribute.

I'm not historically what might be called a tweaker type or extreme overclocker, but I love to own above-average equipment with the ability to offer more power and advanced options, even if I may never use them to their full potential. It's worth the extra money to have such fun. Bragging rights, and the ability to just mess around with the stuff when I want. I've learned a lot from this forum in the last month, so many knowledgeable experts here, so thanks to all for that.

I'm a fan of PC games, and don't use my home equipment for CAD or REVIT or high-intensity graphical stuff, just the usual home office and finance stuff, so the advantage I get out of the higher end equipment is pretty much for gaming. Thus....ROG, it's a great line of equipment and a nice community here. See you all on the forums.
