Hi everybody.
A little about myself is I work as a Medical Technologist, have a fiance, and have a great passion for gaming (like any other boys). I used to own the Asus ROG G55VW-DH71 for a couple of years. Its has a great built, equipped with GTX GeForce 660m, and would rarely see it heating up due to its fine cooling system. However, that unit was quite bulky and heavy. It was a great machine, however, I recently sold it off craigslist to somebody. I then came across my current laptop, which is the Asus ROG G502VY-DS71 equipped with GTX GeForce 980m. It is a beast! With its 6th Gen i7 processor, 128 GB SSD, 16 GB of RAM, its fast. Its levels better than my old laptop. I can play Starcraft 2 in ULTRA High settings without any lag or problems. It just gets really hot at the exits to which I wish somebody can HELP me on that.
Anywho, I am not a hardcore gamer. I wish I was but I am too busy with work, fiance, wedding planning and such. When I stumbled upon this forum, I was very excited: being able to talk to other gamers to get an idea what games are good out there now a days other than Counter-Strike and Starcraft (I am so oldschool). Also, I need tips on how I can maintain my new laptop and what I can do to add more cooling to the unit while playing high graphics games. I really like technology and looking forward on what these bad boys can do. Take cares and hope to hear from you guys soon! Have a great one!
