Hi guys, Hutchie here. Currently went from a FX 8350 Zotac AMP Extreme 970 to a ASUS Strix 1070 after building a new i5 6500 build. Was originally going to get the Zotac Amp Extreme 1070 but overall I'm pretty pleased I went with the ASUS instead. Although I do need some help with overclocking this beast.

Hi, guys etorphine here. I built a new system with asus ranger VIII. I have gtx 1070 asus also . Everything's fine for now :))

Rhufus here. Just bought a G751, pretty sweet. Now all I gotta do is downgrade to Windows 7.

Hey everyone. I started an account because I'm having some serious issues with an ASUS RMA and am trying not to get caught in the dreadful rigamarole that I've read is getting a product replaced by ASUS.

Already I've RMA'd a vanilla model GTX 980ti and the replacement ASUS sent back was a GTX 970 with the plastic case and labeling stickers of a 980ti. Obviously this isn't an acceptable replacement.

Would anyone happen to know the best next steps for me to take to solve this process?

Hi! New to gaming laptops but have had personal computers since the Sinclair 1000 days...
Love new tech and still unsure if I like Windows 10 or not...
Just acquired an older 2012 G74s and want to upgrade RAM and perhaps hard drive? Want to learn about overclocking.
Thanks for allowing me into your forum!!

Guess I have to make a post to post.

Hello Gamers! I have been trolling your forums hardcore for great info since December, 2015, and finally decided to jump in. You all have inspired me to play around with my gear, and never stop picking up new stuff to play with. I've built several reliable performers for my customers over the years, but never jumped in for myself until now.
I'm an ETA Journeyman certified electronics technician, and work for a communications small business, a specialist in helping people making positive, confident change in life, a bit of a cowboy, veteran and nerd.
My first computer was a Commodore 64, and I was able to gather all the "bells and whistles" from two pairs of aunts/uncles, including a whopping rolodex of FLOPPY DISK games! The rest is history.
After I get more comfortable with more aggressive OC'ing, I'm sure I'll find myself benchmarking, and someday I might even get into LN! Great conversations you guys have here, lots of info.
Oh, just this week I commissioned an old laptop and hooked up the ROG Connect with my homemade USB cable and started up Tweakit - HELL YEA! I'm gonna have fun with this rig! And when I burn it up, I'll do it again

Lots of great information here, happy to be a part of it.
I go back to the 8088 days.... Asus MB's, P5N32-E SLI Q6600, Rampage Formula X48 still running @ 3.5, Maximus VIII Hero Alpha.

My name is Cassie. I'm 25 and have an Asus RoG VI Impact mobo that I love in a custom-built computer that I've had for about a year and a half.

I'm here to learn about the capabilities of my board and how to properly utilize it at need. After all, I paid for an awesome piece of machinery,
and it would be a waste to never make use of all of the great features.

On top of learning more about RoG boards, I'm hoping to get some help troubleshooting an issue I've been having. I'm new to computers,
so I feel like the scope of what I'm able to do is extremely limited, and I have pretty much exhausted all ideas I have one what could be
the problem. I'm on the brink of taking it to a shop, which I hate the idea of because the information for me to solve this should be there,
but either I can't find it or I'm not interpreting correctly. 😕 Sad day for me, but I'm hoping that maybe some of you fine people will be
willing to at least throw some ideas out there for me.

Anyway, happy to be here!

Thanks
