Hi, everyone!
I've been running Asus \ ROG for years from your standard Asus laptop to the G75 laptop to Rampage Extream MoBo's all my GPU's laptop and custom built PC's have been Asus for the last 13-15 years.
I have always liked the Asus product especially the ROG line. Asus ROG is the one that just keeps improving. I could be an advertisement, right?

So a little about myself,
I'm one of those guy's that jump around a lot in their hobbies and or interest, How I differ from the masses is when
I become interested in a subject / hobby I have to understand it well and that leads to usually becoming efficient with it. I started out about 18 years ago with a desktop and thought I would play some games on it. You know the rest, not fast enough then tinkering started. I became interested in software and hardware, before I knew it I was building gaming rigs and workstation for friends and family. Soon after I started building and selling custom PCs online. Now I'm the Information Technology Mgr. at my place of employment along with production Mgr. I've never been to school for networking or computers I just have an interest in it. I have received a few Microsoft certs but that's about it. As for helping other out I can in some cased but with my learning disability it's easier for me to show and do than explain.

I would like to say I'm self-taught but that would be untrue because I've obtained my knowledge from others, whether it's reading a book or watching a video or just talking on a forum like this one. I have a learning disability type 3 Dyslexia this is when my eye's see number and letters just fine without any trouble but my stupid brain likes to make things difficult and not recognise what my eyes are seeing. This makes reading, writing and grammar very difficult for me. So if I'm destroying a sentence just kick me in the a-- and I will try to tighten up.

I just purchased a new G750JM, and like all my Asus gear Im wrapped!!
I bought this thru the net and was a little disappointed at the packaging, which to say the least,
left something to be desired.

Any way Attempt number eight was removed as soon as it arrived, to be replaced with Ubuntu Studio,
running under 14.04 ( Trusty) See my request in general chat.

I am an old,old engineer most accomplished in making huge mainframes. Hence the use of unix.
I now mostly do audio, and make all my own equipment, including circuit boards, including designing the electronics.
I also specialise in valve amplifiers, where i design and make the transformers.
