My name is Cory and I'm a first time pc gamer. I'm former army. I have been in love with asus and wanted a computer of theirs for the longest time. I just got the asus g20 i3 and I''m loving it. Hoping to do some upgrades and learn as much as I can from you guys. I've had a passion for games at a very early age. For crying out loud I sell phones for a living. I'm a big nerd with little actual experience unfortunately but I'm hoping to change that. I love mass effect and was just starting to get into dragon age 3 along with bf4, destiny for a time, The last of us, fallout 3 and new vegas (fallout 3 will always win out to me), and planetside 2 now that I can actually run it.

Hey! dropping in to say hi. Been playing with computers for along time in fact my first pc had 16k Ram and one of the first games I recall was called Colossal Cave. Anyway just got an Asus hero vii, 4970k, and some other stuff to update my home system and thought I'd stop by here to check it out. Anyway, hope to see you in the forums as I ask my "newbie" questions.

Hello all,

I am Enrico, I recently bought a G751jy, and can't wait for its delivery! I am a software developer, and truth to be told I chose it because I think it will be an excellent development machine, in addition to being awesome as a gaming laptop.

See you around 🙂

Enrico

ello all,I am 1sthurricane and have been an avid PC gamer,well....since Panzer General hit the shelves.Have loved Asus products for years and hope I will get my frag on with my new Asus toys that have shipped.I play a ton of BF4/ROME II and cannot wait for my new build.I am more on the "novice" end of building but have a friend who helps me alot and really enjoy all the new techy stuff that comes out for building/modding.

hello everyone
i was wondering if anyone can help me. I purchased a g750jz. which i really enjoy btw. The problem i have is that the game i have been waiting to play "dying light" may not work pon his platform. dying light requires minimum intel i5 2500@3.3GHz 4gb ram ddr3 and nvidia 560 with 1gb vram. And a preffered intel i5 4670k 3.4 GHz 8gb ram ddr3 and nvidia gtx 780 2gb vram. I was hoping someone could tell what could happen trying to play this game on my g750jz and maybe some possible solutions.I do not want to buy another pc just to play this game.
thanks for any help

Hey guys,

My name is Michael, fourty one and into pc's since the 386.I build them myself, with mainly Asus parts(pc is now an Intel 3770k, Z77 Sabretooth with 780oc Asus graphics) Before that we had a Atari 2600 gameconsole, and a MSX computer. I tend to get magazines to type over the (absolute) basic what was in there, and spending hours to find out afterwards where I made the typos:) I work as a Technical Support for an ISP. I promised my youngest daugher my recent laptop(Lenovo Ideapad y580) if she would get her school diploma. She's is doing good atm, so I had to look out for a new laptop;p O my, what a beautiful thing I saw there. I ordered the Asus ROG G751 7037h today! Honestly, I cant wait! I game often(BF4, Crysis 3, Dragon Age Inq), and love movies. Ialso make music, played guitar and sang in a band for over 15 years. We have a happy family, everyone is doing great!

This site is looking very promising. You'll bet you'll find me here in the future.

Greetz:)

Hi guys,

My first-ever build. I've been playing around with computers for many years and have replaced many components, but I'd never built one from scratch. So far, I'm very happy with the way this one turned out. My specs:

Motherboard: Maximus VII Formula
CPU: 4790k
Memory: 16 GB Corsair Vengeance (1866 MHz)
Graphics: Asus GTX 970 Strix
PSU: Corsair AX860
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U12S (with a second fan added)
Case fans: Noctua NF-A14
SSD: Samsung 850 Pro (512 GB)
HDD: Western Digital (2 TB)
Case: Phanteks Enthoo Luxe

In preparation, I spent a lot of time watching YouTube videos, reading reviews and reading forums like this one. The system handles Prime95 and Unigine Valley really well. CPU max temp under load is about 70 degrees.
