Hi everyone, I am a recent buyer of a ASUS g74sx and I love the darn thing lol =). I've brought my logitech g700 mouse and a Swiss Pegasus backpack for $100 total which is a great deal that I had found. I just ordered a Intel wifi card to replace the atheros card that many people are complaining about. But I have witness myself the constant lag of browsing the web and playing online games. But overall, I am really happy about my purchase and this awesome laptop will serve me well through 10 plus years! :cool: 🙂 :cool:

Hello, my name is Ryan and I have gone by DarkSeedRA for the last 13 years but I have been using computers since Jr. High (1983). I built all my home systems for the last 20 years. I started working professionally with computers in 1992 for Pacific Bell. I have been an Windows Systems Engineer and contractor since 2005 and have worked for Activision / Blizzard, POM Wonderful, Fiji Water, Robbin's Brothers, Skechers, and others. My current assignment has been 5 years at Toyota's US headquarters in Southern California. I have worked with every Microsoft operating system since DOS 2.0 and was one of the first 500 people in the world to receive the MSCE certification in Windows 2000. I guess it is about time to get certified in Windows 2008 R2.

I am heavy into all types of PC gaming (even ran a few Half-Life DM servers in 1999-2000), programming (BASIC / Fortan / COBAL / Pascal / VBScript / Visual Basic / PowerShell / and a few others), 3D rendering (trueSpace / 3DS Max), 2D illustration (Adobe CS / AutoCAD), video, and system virtualization (VirtualBox / VMware / Hyper-V).
