This probably the news that will affect us computer builders most. This is probably also the end of playing with OC, this and Windows 8 , 2012 bring only bad news to PC enthusiast who like to build PCs. What if a users damage a board, it will cost him a CPU too.

That will be awful! :mad: The whole point behind a desktop is the upgradability, which includes the CPU. Granted, I can see that it is a business move in that the gross profit on CPU upgrades aren't very high, so it won't be high on Intel's priority list to support. 😞
