Mobo warning speaker (beep) where?

Hello.

I recently purchased an asus maximus ranger vii mobo. I can't find the warning speaker (beep) among the accesories. Do I have to purchase it separatedly, or do asus rely only on that code number thingy?

Hello

You will need to supply a speaker if the use of one is desired.

You could buy one of these, although any little 5V 8Ω speaker will work. My local computer shop (NCIX) has a few brands costing $9-$17 while my local electronics shop (RP Electronics) charges $1.99 for a generic no-name part, you could buy 50 for $10 (plus shipping) on ebay, lol. I haven't seen an official Asus part.
