I've been running a new rig for a few days on air to test everything and it worked fine. Switched to custom liquid cooling and got boot CPU 00 😞
To my surprise I could feel electricity in the computer case when I accidentally touched the monitor next to it that has a metal frame. So something is shorting!
I disconnected everything. Eventually I only had Mobo and CPU power connected - no luck. Still feel electricity in the case.
Took everything apart including waterblocks :mad: and when testing the Maximus Formula XI out of the computer I pass the boot. I check the mobo and see that there are damages from the spacers/distance used by the Phanteks C360i waterblock.
Have the metal washers of the waterblock damaged the motherboard? Shorting it?
