Maximus vi hero spectre bios

Hi does any one know when asus will be releasing updated bios for the maximus vi hero i've tried contacting asus direct but i got the same response twice this is the message i get from them thanks.

if asus don't release a new bios for spectre this will be the last asus product i will buy ever again. i'm going to look at motherboards that have had new bios released for spectre and go with them on my next upgrade and won't look at asus boards again.

I also have this same board and I doubt Asus is gonna update anything about this motherboard at all. Look at the support download page. The last bios release was in 2014, TWO THOUSAND FREAKING FOURTEEN! So I'm not counting on it. And yes, this also will be my LAST Asus board. Great hardware but terrible support.

such a shame,i realy like asus aswell, but they giving me no other option

u can update your cpu microcode yourself via LINUX fromthe official intel thing

I've installed the windows KB4090007 update that has new microcode for haswell no problems so far been running 4 days now.
