i really hate the log-in for this site. took 20 min of running around. why does it keep changing????? used to be so easy. had to reset names, passwords.

Not sure what you mean by "keep changing". AFAIK it has only changed when the site was initially revamped (and synched with ASUS accounts) and just recently now that it is single sign-on. It uses your existing ASUS.com account so you should not have needed to reset anything. Have you been having frequent problems?

haven't been around in a while....but I wouldn't accept my usual login stuff, then I had to redo it with my yahoo, and then it sends me to some other asus site.....too many hoops to jum pthrough IMO

Yes, the login page is different but you should only have to log in once. And you will be logged in for your asus.com account as well if you need to use the main forums or access your account for RMA, etc. Once you are logged in there it should automatically log you into the forums. The idea is that you now only need one account for everything ASUS which is simpler in the grand scheme of things.

In my case my ROG username is xeromist but my ASUS account is in the format of my email so it would be xeromist@somedomain.com. The password remained the same but the username was slightly different.

Anyway, hopefully they can keep the SSO working and it won't have to change again. 🙂
