HDA is old drivers since windows comes but UAD only supported to win 10 and also supported apps in microsoft store to run with UAD drivers for example sonic studio 3 so if u like old HDA you can stick with it but if u want new updated Drivers and being fresh also you can use UAD there is no much sound different but UAD kinda Quality now since its comes with new updates


and also yes its works with old z270 and x370 chip sets and new comes since with it don't forget to update windows after you install drivers but you cant use it for win7 only win10

is that 1220 alc chip only works with 1220 alc tell the exact model and what is the error

try clean uninstall that all problems you got because you keep install some modded drivers some are even not WHQL besides 8781 is asus newest official driver dont use nonofficial driver it might be kill your board so don't caught to scams other sites they all modded and unofficial drivers asus not guarantee for anything you use beside them
