Help me choose laptop for average gaming

Hello,

I'm planning to buy a laptop for average gaming. Can you help me to choose which one should I take? I considering about G550 (CI7-4710HQ, 8GB RAM and GTX 850m 4gb) and G771 (same as G550, just bigger and has GTX 860m 4gb).

My budget is around 1200 euros.

Since I have powerful high-end PC, I'm NOT PLANNING to play high-end games with laptop such as GTA 5, AC: Unity, Battlefield 4 etc. I would like to play games such as World of Warcraft, Lord of the Ringss Online, Elder Scrolls Online, Stronghold Crusader 2, indie games, remakes such as Age of Empires II: HD Edition, maybe less demanding shooters such as CS: GO and maybe upcoming games such as Mount & Blade 2 and of course general use (music, internet etc.). Can mentioned laptops handle these games?

I prefer mobility and don't want heavy laptop. I know G550JM 15'6 is a good one, but there is also G551 with better graphics card, but G551 is not available at my country right now. So if I want laptop with gtx 860m 4gb, I can choose only G771. Is it heavy? I mean is 3.4 kg considered as heavy? Does anyone have it and can comment on it? Or maybe I should choose N551JM instead?

Right now G550JK is offered with nice discount at local seller and costs 980 euros.

Hello Erathlor and welcome

Here is one that has the 17.3 inch screen with the 860m. It only has 2GB of Vram but gaming at 1080p it's all you need. You can play the high end games with all those laptops you have listed too.

I probably go with G771JM. G750JM seems heavy while G771 is heavy too, but bearable. Can you recommend a good bag for 17,3 laptop? I prefer to carry it in the hand or shoulder. Can Case Logic or Trust Classic BG-3680CP do this?
