I had to revert from 1105 (and 1005) back to 0905. 1005/1105 was totally unusable. With 0905 no more double/triple/quadruple boots, no MemOK! warning, etc.

1105 wreaked havoc on my four-month-old Maximus XI code motherboard, much time wasting getting that mess off my system, ended up using the BIOS slot to roll back to 1005, all working as it should. It did something to my USB ports as to disable the BIOS EZ flash. I'll certainaly be more careful with the next BIOS update.

Can anyone please describe me shortly - what is the problem with 1105 BIOS? I was unable to flash it via Azus EZ Flash as 1005 was unable to see my HDD, so I had to put this 1105 on my USB Flash drive and flashing was fine. I use built in OC 4.7-4.8Ghz for my i9-9900k on ROG Maximus XI Formula.

1) Is there some caution with hardware or what can go wrong after flashing to 1105?
2) Is there official response from Asus about it? Just removing from download page is nothing

Hey, I have an Asus Maximus XI Hero (No WiFi) and I am using BIOS 1105 without any problem. Cpu is a 9700K OC@5Ghz and RAM is G.SKILL F4-3200C14 , all is working cool here and I have no triple/quadruple boot either.

I think all the issues relate to high speed RAM (32 GB), generaly with MXI

I am on XI Extreme and 1105 is quite unstable for me. Some random reboots, crashes, oveclock crashes Cinebench.
Hopefully official 1201 for extreme is just around the corner.

Just installed it despite no notes on what it contains. No smoke and flames so far, and it hasn't seemed to have destabilized my overclock. Significantly more retraining reboots after application but that's done with and seemingly behind me.

Sure would like to know what it's bringing to the table.
