Thread updated.

Mokichu, I have a maximus X code. I never have used sonic studio or any of the add ons. I have always installed that first driver listed, for SS3. Im wondering if the last selection that is labeled RTK can also work for me? Does it still give me the realtek control panel and all that? Is it just basically the driver without the extra bloat that I dont use?

Finally, the Chrome / Firefox issues are resolved.

But I can also confirm that there is still an issue with "plify" not being displayed sometimes.

Thread updated.

Unfortunately, the drivers in this package are not signed correctly.
Will do a rollback to the previous drivers...

Greetings

Edit:
I forgot to mention another sound issue with the previous driver:
6.0.8816.1 WHQL has an issue with changing sound outputs.
I've got a 5.1 surround sound system and a stereo headset.
When changing the main output from the headset back to 5.1 in Windows 10 via the tray volume icon, the sound sometimes just doesn't work right.
In most apps and programs, there is just no sound output. When rapidly clicking the volume slider - just to trigger the system sound for changing the volume - there is a very strange output of that sound... seems like there have some bits gone lost on the way to the speakers.

I am also having the sound output issue.

Going into the Realtek Control Panel and switching the source in the "Connector Retasking" section from headphone to front output gives me sound again.

Hello. I have ROG GR8 II. How can i install? Thanks 🙂

So not sure what is going on but I keep losing Audio after I reboot. Followed the directions on the first page for a clean install. Device Manager shows 6.0.8821.1 Realtek Audio drivers (I have a Maximus X Code MB). Output options so the correct devices: Speakers (Realtek(R) Audio and Realtek Digital Output (Realtek).

After installing the drivers it worked but on a reboot it no longer works. Neither do my headphones. It can detect when I plug them in and the Realtek control panel shows my headset is plugged in but still no audio. Any idea where I went wrong?

Any way to get the Realtek Speaker back on the Taskbar and the Realtek control panel back in the Control Panel? Or has that pretty much been done away with now?

Thanks, that worked out great for me. Maybe I'm the only one that misses that or just used to it? I will have to keep that URL bookmark as well.

im using Realtek HD Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3) and i still have a speaker thing in system tray it just will not apear there after start up
go to control panel and select realtek hd audio manager
you could put it in startup if you really want a icon there

Call me crazy but I honestly don't think the HDA ones with Realtek control Panel and the Taskbar speaker are as loud as the SS3 drivers are. Maybe I'm just getting old now.
