Thanks for the post!

hello...
My pc was built with Maximus XI Apex mobo.... it seems that the codec used in this mobo doesn't have nahimic / sonic studio / sonic radar features.. on the asus driver support website it says realtek with nahimic, but when i installed it the audio console(RPC error), sonic studio, sonic radar won't run..
does anybody have the solution?
thanks

@gamerson
To uninstall the old drive, use this program revouninstaller
Try to install the last driver by here

- Realtek HD Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS Nahimic + Sonic Studio III integration) - Last version [12/03/2019] :
----Drivers : 6.0.1.8652 WHQL
----SS3 Extension Drivers : 1.1.7.56670 WHQL
----NH3/SS3 APO SoftwareComponent Drivers : 1.3.0.0 WHQL

i've already done any kind of installation methods ... still not working, and then when i checked on asus website All of maximus xi models have supremeFX with SS3 integration except for APEX model , only SupremeFX.. no sonic studio integration mentioned. so i guess this mobo is only superrior on its VRM than the other models with less features..

But your motherboard seems to be compatible with this drive, maybe you have to do the bios update....

Then use this drive from here.

Hi,

Indeed, the ROG MAXIMUS XI APEX motherboard is not SS3/SR3 compatible.

You must use HDA FF00 drivers (Realtek HD Audio Drivers with Realtek HD Audio Manager Only (Standalone) case, use the FIRST INSTALL/CLEAN INSTALL tutorial) : https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?105878-DRIVERS-Realtek-HD-Audio-(HDA)

Yep... done it already...

thanks for replying.. 😄

kinda regret switching to this MB ,,, should've stick with HERO XI instead as i'm not an overclocking enthusiast...

went to update vmware today , but installer said it was having permission problem in x64 folder.

turned out that nahimic was blocking it....

thought i let you guys know so....

This is what I was looking for. Thank you!

RTK one is broken for me, can't install it.
