There are 5MO and 1,5MO Firmware
which one is yours posted?

Asus says this:

"Version 12.0.40.1433
2019/07/123.31 MBytes
MEUpdateTool
Intel has identified security issue that could potentially place impacted platform at risk.
Use ME Update tool to update your ME.
*We suggest you update ME Driver to the latest Version 12.0.40.1433 simultaneously.
Please download the file and check the MD5 code first.
MD5:5cb5066895caad7ee044b993b79ec97e"

They suggest updating the driver at the same time. Yet they do not publish this driver. Any ideas?

After looking for new drivers: i think asus refers to driver 12.x.x.x (latest one is 1923.12.0.1278 )

They are very specific to use the 12.0.40.1433 driver version.

This is what confuses me about some of the things ASUS does.

I'll just wait until this driver shows up.

it depends upon the Intel processer chipset, consumer or corporate and SKU.

I Franky I updated exact correct Intel me firmware , downloaded from Lenovo website .
Iam using vivobook with i5 7200U processor.
Intel i5 7200U_ Nvidia 940MX _Windows_11_Enterprise_64bit_22H2_buildno_22621.754

just make the update. i do no see a obvious issues at least.

what i can use to test.

Eventualy the OEM drivers will be updated if needed. slowly as always. or go with driver only. but For me I prefered the OEM, and more that will have z390 for a good while of time.

i always run the ME tool and often see that "use driver XXX" though they never post a link to get them anywhere and i just don't feel comfortable grabbing a random link from the forum
