Just noticed that on 8703.1 with Z370-G, Bass Management seems to be working in reverse. When I disable it, I seem to be getting a lot fuller bass through my sub.

Even if automatic detection via the jack validates your speakers for lvl 3 amplification, the tool actually thinks it's a headphones. Even if it works, you damage your speakers and you will generate distortion subtle but very unpleasant to hearing. So, speakers via jack : only use the jack amplification lvl 1.

also the asus z hero z -370 - ( wifi) has un balanced sound by about 1 balance fader notch and using front panel audio on your case produces audio crackling

Do these work on windows 7?

I remember downloading these drivers from this thread and before the thread was updated it said the previous drivers were compatible with windows 7 too but now I can't get those anymore.

These new ones look almost identical to the other ones so maybe they will work even if they are for 10 only?
