Not really but i pay for these feature. If you use a external dac or external /internal card or a MIC box, these features will not not work. many of the funtions that SS3 have are built in the OS as a feature. I have spend a lot playing with these with 1809 and 1803. I love the feature and what it can do. the complete feature boost headphones very good, in fact to good, the board can power my 300Ohm headphone. mic sound super. does a fantastic job. But in order to have these working and more driver has to be perfect nahimic and the drivers has to talk to the board. I do enjoy a lot these since. on stream a 30 usd mic can sound so good...

So I went and did a fresh install on Windows since couldn't get any of the Realtek drivers to work even the default drivers on the mobos software page.

I used the same drivers below. I want to be able to use Sonic Studio.

- Realtek HD Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS Nahimic + Sonic Studio III integration) - Last version [05/03/2019] :
----Drivers : 6.0.1.8648 WHQL
----SS3 Extension Drivers : 1.1.7.56670 WHQL
----NH3/SS3 APO SoftwareComponent Drivers : 1.3.0.0 WHQL

I'm on Windows 1809. The drivers worked for me unlike a few people who posted earlier.

After a little research, I'm not entirely sure - it looks like after my PC went into hibernation was when I was having issues with the front and right channel not working.

I may disable it if it happens again to see if it was the issue.

So I checked to see if the driver update in Device Manager. It's using version 8573 instead of 8648. Is it supposed to be using the older version? How would I go about updating it to 8648? It doesn't look like I'm using the Nahimic Integration.

In my case mine says 6.0.1.8648 3/08/2019 but still crashing on speaker test. but I do not feel hibernation.

Let disable that and test again

There is an issue with the UAD drivers on my Strix X470-F

I'm using 5.1 speakers and it disable the Front Right and Front Left channels.
However, my front port case headphone jack works is able to play all channels.

Nada. AUDIO IS TOTALLY GONE! I think I have a bad board. I can see the movement on the windows that there is sound.

But none comes.

If I unplug the speakers, and put my headphones. BSOD on Realtek.

I am done testing these for week.

There is no WAY to use 1809 with audio. even on original drivers. up to current post one. both normal and the alternative. try all bios, all drivers. They JUST DO NOT WORK>

The sad part the ASUS STORE that sell me the board will tell me drop to 1803 and stay there.

I am so mad, pss,for these. THE only way to use sound is the front panel.


I looking around also for weeks. I cross a article regarding some INTEL SMART SOUND TECHNOLOGY a 9.21.00.3755 but now that is new with a version 10.xx.xx.xx driver. can be that making these?

It seam Microsoft solution, as webpage I have here, uninstall audio drivers and return to original stock windows drivers.??? what???? a 450 usd board act like a 70us? Guys. these has to be fix. like now. Affter looking the correct search these issue is real. please I beg. tell me where to call so I can help. I have to give a solution.
