Guys - I'm on win 10 Pro, the Sonic Studio 3 app from Windows Store launches but it simply just shows a big red window with no settings.

I tried reinstalling all the software, the standalone Sonic Studio 3 from the Asus package works fine - but NOT the one from the Windows Store.

Any help would be appreciated.

Happens to me also, when i was install it on the x470. no idea why. aside the control panel look generic.

Thank you for your feedback, I removed the version without NahimicService, there is now only one version on the thread.

Are you putting these drivers together from the Realtek FTP (or there is a repository cloning them)? I can see they release the UAD drivers then a separate ThirdParty folder containing the ASUS Nahimic and drivers for SS3? (I am curious, I am a software developer but not much experience in drivers / driver packages).

I just make a clean install on the x470-i the drivers are in. but SS3 is stock on load. does not give any errors

Hi,

If you see a Realtek Audio Control/Console with generic skin and not ROG skin, It is surely that the Strix X470-I is not yet supported by UAD drivers, you need to switch to HDA drivers while waiting : https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?105878-DRIVERS-Realtek-HD-Audio-(HDA)

@ Cellar Door, classyman, Guitarmageddon888 : Thank you for completing your PC Specs profile or telling me which motherboard you own.

Sorry! Haha. Maximus x code with an 8700k.

My board is B350-F gaming latest bios.

Only Realtek EQ active on Sonic studio.
Even on EQ, 16 khz channel is not working.

Can you try HDA drivers (FIRST INSTALL/CLEAN INSTALL) : https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?105878-DRIVERS-Realtek-HD-Audio-(HDA)

Thx, it worked (Using Sonic Studio 3)....BUT

The EQ channel 32 Hz and 16kHz somehow not working.

To check my speaker response, i go here :

Testing 16 Khz response :
https://www.audiocheck.net/audiotests_frequencycheckhigh.php

Testing 32Hz response :
https://www.audiocheck.net/testtones_subwooferharmonicdistortion.php

I can hear 16k. The 32hz is barely heard.

I will settle for this for awhile anyway

If I'm using onboard Audio, and the realtek normal interface (not all the fancy rog stuff) works fine, am I missing
out on anything? I don't need the whole "hear your enemies sneaking up on you" feature either. I still can get a 5.1 signal out via the realtek signal/optical, so it really doesn't matter? Just seems like so many issues people have
