Consumer Trust for EA & Dice is Gone

Battlefield 4 has stripped EA of consumer trust, look at the Simcity mess, half baked sequels, a decrease in quality of their games, etc. They just lost all the trust from their fans.

With all that EA hasn't done or even out right lied about it makes me wonder if we're going to see a repeat of this with Titanfall. We have all read over the past few years that EA is the worst consumer rated company in America, This is sadly the way gaming is these days. It's like they are trying find ways to screw their customers.

We pay $60 for Beta's, not finished games. EA is not alone look at Ubisoft shipping AC3 completely broken to the point where one could not finish the game. Ride to Hell: Retribution , The list goes on & on, it's really unfortunate that so many companies are like this today the only thing they care about is the bottom line. And we their customers are the ones who are left out.

It feels like EA is growing an unsettling culture of dishonesty, I can only hope the new Battlefront game doesn't suffer from poor EA management also, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Yeah I would say I have to agree pretty much. the gaming industry seems to have no self or external regulation....some enterprising lawyer should start a gamers class action for some of these titles. i don't think bugs can be avoided but as you say some of these releases simply seem like BETA testing.

DLC...don't get me started.

Very few studios still maintain respect...CD Project would be one for me that does.

EA...terrible for gamers...Dragons Age 2 was a cash grab on the back of the first game and just a disgrace and showed the final corruption of a formerly good company, Bioware.

The final insult is the horrible symbiosis of these companies and the review sites that should be telling it as it is and taking these games down in the first few days....instead they print praise and phoney ratings and stuff that isn't fit for release gets promoted as the best thing since sliced bread...

Still the consumer is not entirely blameless in this....they still buy....maybe they get what they deserve if they're not capable of voting with their credit cards.

What do you mean half a game? Care to explain I never heard that before. Rockstar has been loyal to its gta fan base from the start. Not many places would keep making titles that would lead to bad GOOD press like they did. I'm not defending EA (even though they are 10 mins away from my house) by any stretch of the imagination but they had to pay out 500+ million to college football players (2013) for using them in games w/o consent. They no longer will be making college sport games. The lawlz city release sealed its fate neway

sorry I made a mistake I own like 300 pc games it wasn't gta 5 it was ride to hell retribution this game is so buggy I uninstalled it the same day. I'll fix the post..
