Computer start, shut off then restart

Hello guys, i'm in doubt if what happened here recently is something to worry. I have a asus z87+i7 4770k since january 2014, and till last week i was using windows 8+HDD OS installation. Last week i installed a SSD and windows 8.1 and made some little modifications in Bios like turning off some features, onboard audio/cpu executable bit and something more. Beyond that made some tweaks in the windows 8.1 turning some features off like page file/prefetch/superfetch and some more.

Then i just give attetion to one thing changed in my computer starts when i press power button, before SSD i always press the power button and computer start normally, boot, load windows and become to desktop withouth problem. Now it is different, i push the power button, computer start for 2-3 seconds then shut off alone, then restart alone again and make normal boot, load windows and go to desktop without problem.

I just curious or afraid what is this now the computer shutting off and restarting after i push power, if it is something about bios or what can be? Someone can explain that?

Thanks

are you overclocking?

Yes. I just removed my ram sticks and clean it with rubber and reinstall and looks like the problem was solved.

The double boot is most commonly your bios having to retrain your memory each time. I wonder if cleaning the pads of the memory sticks has sorted this problem out.
