Chinese characters in save profile name

I went to save my bios profile and there were some chinese characters in the save name....I never put those there and when I clicked on something else and came back they disappeared. Is this some issue? Am I hacked? I have a maximus x formula with latest bios 2102.

Happened to me also.
Asus XII Apex, bios 0602
I tried to change the name, but these came back...

I started loading profiles into a new 2022 Apex board yesterday, as I type profile name the Chinese Characters appear to the right.



I thought it was vary strange, does not seem to effect system stability. I googled the issue and found this old thread, and seems all motherboard manufactures have users posting threads about the Chinese Characters,.. 😛
