Where I live brownouts are quite common, get one about every month or so. Along with this I seem to get my PC failing POST startup process about once every month or two in line with the brownout. It happens once, then I unplug it at the wall, switch it back on and everything works as it should again. It is still starting up when failing POST, just my monitor and keyboard which are quite old never obtain power to them, these are the only two devices which fail POST, everything else inside works fine, cpu, psu, fans etc... my monitor and keyboard are quite old as well whilst my PC is quite new.

In relation to the brownouts if there is nothing I can do about them should I be looking to replace my PSU or anything, I can't find any faulty parts inside my PC.
Someone has suggested to get a UPS but I can't afford one right now, if I don't they said nothing is wrong with my PC but the brownouts will destroy / melt components over time, were they correct in saying this? Main thing that worries me is that I have a faulty PSU but I know it is not faulty. I have checked for any parts being loose and all sorts.
Overall should I be worried about this? I am happy to let the components die over time and just replacing them as this seems a cheaper option than getting a PSU.
