recently (last week) I bought the 'Palit GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Super JetStream' and today I had the time to insert in my pc specs: - ASUS Maximus VI Extreme - Intel Core i7-4770K - be quiet! Dark Power Pro 10 1000W - G.Skill 1866-916 Sniper 4x4GB - OLD GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Superclocked ACX 2.0 - Dell U2515H
Problem: After exchanging the GTX980 with GTX1080 TI I get no POST messages etc. screen stays black 'no signal' the whole time. But I know Windows is booting up successfully since my soundcard Xonar Essence STX is making the regular crackling sound at the end on Windows boot. Only if the GTX1080 TI is not inserted, I can use the iGPU and get to UEFI. Even I force enabled iGPU (standard 'auto detect') I get 'no input' as long as 1080 TI is inserted. (Of course plugged the Display port cable in the iGPU slot)
Things done: - Latest Windows 10 Creators Update - Check if there is a new bios update - no there isn't - Nvidia Driver uninstalled with DDU - Test all PCIE slots, no success - Disabled 'fast boot' in UEFI - Tried all Display ports on 1080 TI - Tried HDMI, there I do not get 'no signal', but everything stays black. - Same PSU cords tested that work with GTX980, after that I tried the other too (PSU is SLI ready)
Any ideas? I'm not a noob user, building my rigs for over 15 years but I'm close to giving up on this on. Any BIOS setting?
