Bended cpu socket pin and bended board

Allright. Long story short, i received a replacement motherboard with a bended socket pin.

I sended the board bacn and the shop restored that bended socket pin with bending it back.

They tested the board and it boots.

My question is. Does this affect its performance in anyway?

The board itself is abit bended too. Does this affect the board in any negative way? Ie too much strain on particular componnents?

Thanks in advance.

U can check pictures in my other tread. Not happy with costumer service.

Or am i being picky?

Hi weskeh

if it boots up and works without problems go with it, it will flatten out once you get it mounted in your case and it won't hurt performance.

Akane@Asus responded to your other thread and wanted your information.

Yes ive seen that. The store did it internally wich ive had to ask for. As they kinda implied the first time that they had send it to the manufacturer.

I am going to have to roll with what i got am afraid. Although the store left me kind of unhappy.. i wonder why they did not send it back anyway.. this could have been avoided

No blame towards Asus here 🙂

Anyway i might do something wuth it or sell it.

Thanks for the reply.
