Z690 Formula - Constant loss of ethernet on load.

Strange issue here that I don't even know how to troubleshoot. Whenever the ethernet gets loaded past 20 mb/s, theres a high probability that it will disconnect from the internet. I didn't think it was the motherboard at first, but now it seems like it's the only culprit.

Steps tried:
- Variety of different ethernet cables
- Replaced router with asus ax88u
- Tried marvell 3.1.3 and 3.1.6 drivers

After the ethernet adapter says it's not connected to the internet, the only thing that seems to work is funnily enough the built in MS tool that resets the ethernet adapter, after that the connection is back to normal, until the adapter is loaded again.

Easiest way for me to reproduce this reliably is to download a large game from any client/launcher. After a minute or two I see the download throughput go from ~100MB/s or greater, to kilobytes and then 0 until the adapter is reset (or disabled > enabled again) manually.

BTW, it still happens with my formula board, even with disabling those ip4 and ip6 settings. Although I haven't been doing that many large downloads lately, so it's more rare.

I just wanted to reply that I just got my X670E Extreme with the Marvell AQtion 10GbE onboard LAN - explicitly to avoid the problems of the Intel I225 - yet it's now dropping connection on me... I am appalled. Thanks all for getting this brought up. I am thankful I'm at least still in the refund window...:(

Now going to go through the motions of trying different drivers, etc, but I am fairly sure nothing will help now. I've already determined it is not my network stack, although I haven't tried a new cable. The cable was working find on my last PC that this replaced.

In effort to troubleshoot this around a month ago I replaced all of my ethernet cables and my ethernet switch with brand new variants to no avail. I have also tested by using my ISP's default modem/router combination with my PC directly connected to it and the issue persists. (My normal network setup is a Ubiquiti USG and U6-LR access point).
I will also say that my previous PC (an X299 build with onboard Killer E2500 LAN adapter, and Intel GBe LAN adapter) did not exhibit this issue with either router setup and ethernet cables/switch.

I do not have this issue with the Intel 2.5b ethernet port running driver version 2.0.1.3 from the ASUS > Z690 Maximus Extreme website.

Same issue here, Starrain. Although I can't switch to a 2.5gb port on my board, as the formula only has one ethernet port.

just wanted to chime in as well, Same issue here,
- Z690 Formula
- 12900k
-stric 3080ti
- 2TB m.2 Firecuda in raid 0
- 32GB Trident Z5 5600 dual kit
-win11 veR 21H2 ( build 22000.556 )
- Bios 1304 ( same issue with previous bios as well )
- Marvell AQtion 10Gbit driver V3.1.6.0
- besides what everyone lese described, on every boot I get event ID 219, and 14 and a few other perhaps unrelated.

I have solid cat7 cable, using the ROG AXE11000 Rapture router, cable goes from the 2.5Gb in the back to the 10G ethernet. did not try or enable wifi 6e yet as my PC sits under my router. I also noticed a latency delay issue when starting the computer it takes longer for the internet to connect, it does not do that with my previous Formula boards as I have one in another room.

For loss of 10Gb ethernet issue, I've reported it to our tech team for further testing.
For latency delay issue, how long do two Formula PC take to connect the internet? Have you tried Marvell Ethernet connection Driver V3.1.3.0 from our support site?
Does it occur on bios 1304 with bios all default settings?
If the Formula PC in another room also connect from 2.5G WAN/LAN port on the GT-AXE11000 router to the 10G ethernet with the same cat7 cable, do you also have the latency issue on another Formula PC?

The latency issue happens and happened on previous bios versions and previous Drivers as well. my other build located in my other room has the Intel® Ethernet (I219-V) its the ROG MAXIMUS IX FORMULA Intel Z270, several others reported internet delay/latency issue on reddit as well, its not as bad but it is noticeable. the other computer/board connects via WIFI but I also had it connect threw ethernet and never had that issue as well. the Z270 simple connects or is connected the moment I'm in windows ( win 10)

***latency Update*** I timed it just when the system starts and I'm in windows, it takes 31 seconds for it to catch internet, 24 seconds for the internet logo to show connected on the bottom right corner , and 7 more seconds for it to actually connect and have data ( clicking on a website).
