I am building a new system with ROG STRIX Z490-G GAMING (WI-FI) and the system will not post. DRAM q-LED stays lit. I bought 2 different types of dram based on the motherboard memory guide. Originally had two stick in A2 and B2 slots, but I have removed second stick in B2 and now just have one dimm in A2 slot as recommended by manual, switched it out with other dram (also compatible), but still the dram led stays lit. Checked that dram was seated properly multiple times. Remove all sticks completely since I wanted to see if mother board would beep, but no beep, DRAM led stays lit. I am using m2 drive, 1660 GPU, I7 processor, and compatible corsair 3600 dram and thermaltake 4000 dram
I have built a similar computer during the summer using the same motherboard, and never had a problem with it posting
